Kopf + Lübben Cargo Services, New Silk Road Network’s member from Germany, has announced a change in their management. Starting September 1, Johan Padding will succeed Michael Guttrof, who left the company at the end of March 2022 after 13 years of service. During this time, he made a significant contribution to the growth of the company.
Mr. Padding has worked in the industry since his logistics studies in the Netherlands and brings a wealth of experience with him. After moving to Germany, Johan Padding initially worked for well-known shipping lines before joining an owner-operated freight forwarding company in 2001. After its takeover by Kerry Logistics in 2012, Johan Padding became the branch manager for Bremen and Hamburg region in 2015.

Partner management of Kopf & Lübben’s worldwide agents, as well as suppliers, will also be part of his responsibilities, as will the IT department.
Until his start on September 1, 2022, Thomas Manigk will be the sole Managing Director at Kopf & Lübben Cargo Services.
We are excited to see what this new joint management team will bring and wish for Mr. Padding a great start at Kopf & Lübben!
