Logistics may not be at the forefront of all news, but more often than not, they are always in the background making things possible. New Silk Road Network’s member Langowski Logistics from Poland recently collaborated with Sava Translogic to deliver 4 ambulances donated from Magen David Adom (Israel) to Ukraine. The Magen Dom Adom (MDA) is a national EMS and blood service organization and engages in humanitarian activities.
The ambulances will first arrive at the Government Strategic Reserve Agency (Rzadowa Agencja Rezerw Strategicznych) in Poland, from where they will be transported to Ukraine.
Furthermore, Langowski Logistics assisted with another humanitarian aid shipment from the UK to Ukraine, clearing customs on both sides with its UK partner EORI Limited. Langowski Logistics’ partnership with the Customs Clearance Consortium means that everyone wishing to provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine can collaborate with them for customs clearance and logistics services. Langowski Logistics contributed half of the value of the customs debt for this operation to support the campaign.
We applaud Langowski Logistics for stepping up and applying their expertise to such causes in a time like this and wish the wounds to be healed very soon in Ukraine.
