New Silk Road Network's partner Container Terminal Wilhelmshaven JadeWeserPort from Germany has been granted the PERS (Port Environmental Review System) certification for the fourth time, for the successful environmental management at Germany’s only deep-water container port. A combination of organisational, legal and structural measures, all of which are summarised in the current environmental report of the JadeWeserPort-Realisierungsgesellschaft (JWPR), forms the basis of the certificate awarded by the Brussels-based organisation EcoPorts. Holger Banik, Managing Director of the JWPR, and Silke Lüders, Environmental Coordinator of the JWPR, are very pleased about this, as the newly acquired certificate is considered international recognition for the diverse sustainability initiatives at the JadeWeserPort.
We are glad to have onboard partners who pay attention to sustainable environmental management. A tremendous congratulations to the Container Terminal Wilhelmshaven JadeWeserPort team for their recertification!
