New Silk Road Network’s founding member Alexander Global Logistics GmbH has signed a Strategic Partnership Agreement with Abu Dhabi Ports (ADP) in Rotterdam, Netherlands during the Breakbulk Europe Exhibition on 18th May.
The agreement signed solidifies their commitments to jointly develop Abu Dhabi as a pulp and paper hub in the Middle East. This unique partnership combines the industry knowledge of Alexander Global Logistics, the ideal position of Abu Dhabi, and the strength of Abu Dhabi Ports (ADP) within the region. The hub aims to address the changing needs of the global supply chain, both for pulp and paper producers and customers. In the first stage, expected to be completed by Q3 2022, a total of 20,000 m² quayside warehousing will be established in Port Khalifa, UAE. From there, all kinds of forestry products will be distributed into the Gulf region and beyond.
