New Silk Road Network’s founding member Alexander Global Logistics (AGL) received a challenging task. The mission was to ship two steel coils measuring 14.15 x 14.15 x 18.11 meters and weighing 27.7 ton each from Hamburg, Germany to Shanghai, China per breakbulk vessel.
The current volatile nature of the shipping industry, which included a lack of shipping options and long run times, made the task seem impossible but impossible is not a word in the AGL dictionary. AGL China office and AGL’s HQ in Bremen, Germany, both members of the New Silk Road Network, combined their forces and decided to distribute the load with using a wooden sledge.

This made it feasible for the coils to be containerized. The coils were then respectively lashed and shipped in two 20’ dry van containers.
This ingenious solution made the delivery smooth and incident-free. NSRN congratulates AGL for this successful delivery and once again for ensuring customer satisfaction.
