Alexander Global Logistics (AGL), a member of the New Silk Road Network representing Germany, China, and the United Arab Emirates, has successfully completed the transport of a 90-tonne transformer from the Czech Republic to Germany. The project showcased the company’s expertise in heavy haulage and complex logistics.
The transformer was delivered to a substation, where it will play a key role in supporting local power generation and energy supply. To handle the oversized cargo, Team AGL used a specially designed 40-meter modular axle trailer. Upon arrival, AGL deployed a push-and-rail system to safely and precisely position the massive unit onto its foundation, ensuring a smooth and secure installation.

A standout feature of this project was the innovative routing solution developed by the AGL team. Prior to the transport, the team conducted an in-depth route analysis and meticulous inspections of all infrastructure along the path. This thorough planning and assessment—crucial due to the cargo's size and weight—enabled a direct road route, eliminating the need for multimodal handling. This approach reduced handling steps, minimized the risk of damage, and saved valuable time.
Cross-border coordination, technical precision, and detailed execution defined the project, once again proving Alexander Global Logistics’ strength in managing complex logistics and delivering streamlined, reliable results. Well done, Team AGL!
